As digital tools and generative AI increasingly shape how students read, write, and think, this workgroup centres on a vital question: How can we motivate our students to move beyond surface-level engagement to develop an inquisitive, sustainable critical mindset?Grounded in everyday classroom practice and drawing on Bloom’s Taxonomy of higher-order thinking skills, this session will explore practical approaches and develop strategies to motivate learners toward building strong, transferable critical thinking abilities.
